How to measure your ring size at home: step-by-step guide

Method 1: Measuring an existing ring (inside diameter)

This is the most accurate method if you already have a reference ring. Follow these steps:

• You will need the ring and a ruler.
• Do not include the metal; the thickness is not considered for the measurement.
• Note the exact measurement in millimeters (mm) and look for this figure in our equivalence table, in the "Inside diameter" column.

Method 2: Measuring your finger (circumference)

If you don't have a reference ring, you can measure your finger's circumference. Follow these steps:

• You will need a string, a measuring tape, or a strip of paper and a ruler.
• We recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day to avoid swelling.
• Wrap the string, tape, or paper strip around the base of the finger on which you will wear the ring, note the exact measurement, and find it in our equivalence table.
