A masterpiece of nature

For millions of years, nature shapes each diamond until it becomes unique. No two are alike, because each possesses its own beauty and character. An unrepeatable story that, in the end, becomes yours.

At JOSE LUIS Joyerías, we work with the finest natural diamonds, carefully selected by our experts and meeting rigorous quality criteria.

To the well-known "4 Cs" (Carat, Cut, Clarity, and Color), factors that determine the quality, beauty, and value of each diamond, we add our fifth C: trust based on more than 50 years of jewelry tradition.

A diamond can never be valued by a single characteristic.

The value of this stone is determined by the combination of all these factors.

The 4 Cs of Diamonds

SIZE

A diamond's cut defines its shape, proportions, and number of facets, elements that determine how light is reflected within it. Each cut is the result of a detailed study designed to enhance the stone's natural brilliance and improve the play of light that will bring it to life.

COLORS

From colorless (D) to yellow (Z or Fancy), diamonds are divided on a color scale differentiated by letters of the alphabet. H-color diamonds still appear colorless to the naked eye. Their hue is so faint that it is difficult to identify them without instruments. The price of diamonds increases or decreases in alphabetical order.

CLARITY

Diamond clarity describes the degree of tiny imperfections present in the stone. Diamonds with fewer flaws will have a higher clarity grade and, consequently, their value will be significantly greater.

CARAT

In gemology, the term "carat" refers to the unit of weight for diamonds, not their size. Therefore, when discussing the weight of a diamond, a standard unit of measurement is used: the carat. One carat is equivalent to 0.2 grams.
