Gold and silver chokers for women

A choker is a short necklace that sits at the base of the neck, adding an elegant and flattering touch. In our collection, you'll find chokers in 18-karat gold and sterling silver, in delicate and understated designs or with gemstone details, perfect for everyday wear or a special occasion.

One of the most appealing aspects of chokers is how beautifully they layer with longer chains, creating a very modern look. Their length accentuates the neckline and elongates the neck, making them a surefire way to refresh any outfit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are used in JOSE LUIS Joyerías chokers?
You will mainly find 18-carat gold chokers, as well as white gold and sterling silver, plus designs featuring zirconia, diamonds and other on-trend gemstones or stones. Each product page shows the exact material and finishes.
What is the difference between a choker and a short necklace?
A choker sits closer to the neck (approx. 32–38 cm and sometimes up to 40 cm with an extender). A short necklace usually sits a little lower (40–45 cm).
Can I get my choker wet?
It is best to avoid water, perfume, creams or chlorine to preserve the shine and any plating. Dry it if it gets damp and store it after wearing.
How do I care for and clean my choker?
Clean it with a soft polishing cloth and store it in its box, case or an anti-scratch pouch.
How can I style my choker with other necklaces?
Ideally, wear it as the short base layer and add medium or longer necklaces for a balanced layered look.
